Weil er ständig in warmer, feuchter Luft sitzt, nutzt er sich mit jeder Fahrt ein Stück ab.

Warum es ein Verschleißteil ist
Er liegt dauerhaft im feuchten Atem, wird bei jedem Auf- und Absetzen gebogen und nimmt Hautfett auf. Irgendwann schließt der Rand nicht mehr am Gesicht ab und lässt Atemluft zum Visier durch. Dann ist ein neuer an der Reihe.

Den alten am Fuß greifen, nicht am dünnen Rand, und dabei ansehen, wie er sitzt. Den neuen an dieselbe Stelle setzen und mit aufgesetztem Helm prüfen, dass er nicht unangenehm auf die Nase drückt.
Gebrauchsfähig halten
Bei sichtbarem Schmutz mit lauwarmem Wasser und etwas milder Seife abspülen und vor dem Einsetzen an der Luft trocknen lassen. Heizkörper und Föhn verformen so dünne Teile, also beides meiden.

Shark führt diesen Abweiser nur mit dem Code CU, ohne beschriebene Ausführung; verglichen wird der Code am Original. Achtung: Einen zweiten LARGE BREATH GUARD gibt es mit eigener Nummer, AC83020P, ohne Ausführungscode und zu anderem Preis, dazu einen LITTLE BREATH GUARD, AC83010P. Für AC83025P nennen weder Preisliste noch Website einen Helm. Die Nummer am alten Teil ist deshalb der einzige verlässliche Anhaltspunkt.
