Wo es sitzt

Was nicht am Lager liegt, ordern wir bei Öhlins nach; die Laufzeit nennen wir vor der Bestellung. Bei größeren Überholungen prüfen wir vorab, welche Positionen zusammengehören.
Der Wert eines Öhlins-Fahrwerks liegt in seiner Wartbarkeit — Ersatzteile gibt es für Baureihen, die längst aus dem Programm sind. An der Aufnahme für den Ausgleichsbehälter sitzt eine eigene Dichtstelle. Bei Zweirohrsystemen trägt das äußere Rohr keine Dämpfung, sondern führt das Öl zurück. Serviceteile sind das, was ein Fahrwerk vom Verbrauchsartikel unterscheidet.
