Öhlins hält seine Fahrwerke über Einzelteile am Leben; deshalb lässt sich ein fünfzehn Jahre altes Federbein noch überholen statt ersetzen.

Bestellt wird unter 06232-06. Wo sich mehrere Größen eine Bezeichnung teilen, trennt sie nur die Nummer. Ihre Oberfläche ist hartverchromt, damit die Dichtung nicht am blanken Stahl läuft. Die Chromschicht ist nur wenige Mikrometer dick; einmal durchgescheuert lässt sie sich nicht nacharbeiten.
