Als Maß nennt Öhlins Innendurchmesser 6 mm, Außendurchmesser 14 mm, Stärke 0.10 mm. Shims sind Federstahl; nach vielen Betriebsstunden bleiben sie leicht geschüsselt. Ein überholtes Federbein arbeitet wieder mit der Dämpfung, die im Datenblatt steht — vorausgesetzt, die Teile stimmen.
