Funktion
Als Maß nennt Öhlins Innendurchmesser 48.8 mm, Außendurchmesser 30 mm. O-Ringe werden über den Innendurchmesser und die Schnurstärke bestimmt, nicht über den Außendurchmesser. Der Werkstoff ist auf die Öltemperatur abgestimmt, die im Betrieb entsteht. Ihre Lippe läuft auf der Welle und verschleißt mit jedem Zentimeter Hub.
