Was es ist
Als Maß nennt Öhlins Dimension A 1.25 mm, Dimension B 12.4 mm. Eine kleine Position, ohne die die Einheit trotzdem nicht zusammengebaut werden kann. Schrauben mit Innensechskant reißen aus, wenn das Werkzeug nicht ganz einsitzt. Beim Zerlegen gehen genau diese Teile am ehesten verloren.

Öhlins hält seine Fahrwerke über Einzelteile am Leben; deshalb lässt sich ein fünfzehn Jahre altes Federbein noch überholen statt ersetzen. Verschleiß zeigt sich zuerst an den Dichtflächen; Riefen dort bedeuten meist, dass mehr als eine Position fällig ist. Bestellt wird über die Artikelnummer. Die Maße darunter sind die, die Öhlins selbst veröffentlicht. Wir sind offizieller Öhlins-Vertriebspartner und beziehen die Teile direkt.
Für die Überholung einer kompletten Einheit stellen wir den Teilesatz auf Wunsch zusammen. Kleinteile aus Edelstahl sitzen dort, wo Korrosion die Demontage erschweren würde.
An der Welle sichert die Mutter das Shimpaket in seiner Lage. Bei mehreren gleich beschriebenen Größen entscheidet allein die Nummer, welche gemeint ist.
