Shared With the Streetfighter
Ducati uses the same throttle assembly on the Panigale V4 and the naked version, which is why this part number covers both. The connector and the mounting are identical.
One Machined Body
The right-hand switches live inside the throttle housing. Both are renewed together here rather than being replaced as separate moulded pieces.
Forged Wheels and Semi-Active Damping
The S specification puts the money where a rider feels it. On a 214 horsepower superbike, both the unsprung mass and the damping response are being worked constantly.
Sealed Elements
Contacts enclosed within the billet. Ingress is what finishes switchgear on a track bike, not mileage, and there is no seam here to let it in.
A Cut Throttle Bore
Machined rather than formed, so the tube stays concentric across years. On a bike ridden at the limit, that consistency is felt at the openings that decide a corner exit.
Black Anodising
Converted into the surface. It steps back from the carbon and the gold rather than adding a third material to the conversation.
Cut From Solid
Ergal 7075 at roughly double the yield strength of ordinary machined aluminium. It costs more to cut and it holds a clamping face indefinitely.
A Front Frame
The compact aluminium structure bolted to the engine replaced the 1199's monocoque. It was lighter, stiffer where it mattered and easier to manufacture consistently.
Original Connector
Pre-wired to Ducati's plug so nothing is cut into the harness. The change is mechanical and fully reversible.
Forged Wheels, Felt Everywhere
The S's rims remove rotating and unsprung mass at the point where both matter most, which changes the steering effort at every direction change rather than only at the top of the rev range. It is one of the least advertised and most consistently noticeable parts of the specification.
