The JP ES 026 closes the current Hayabusa's sidestand circuit so it runs with the stand removed.

The Third Generation
Suzuki redesigned almost everything for 2021 while keeping the silhouette. Cornering ABS, six riding modes, launch control and a Brembo front end all arrived at once.
Still a Tuning Base
The new bike is being converted for the quarter mile just as the old one was. Those builds remove everything that does not contribute and the stand is among the first.
The Interlock
Stops the engine with a gear selected and the stand down. On a 264 kilogram motorcycle the consequences of forgetting are considerable.
An Open Circuit
Reads as a deployed stand. The engine cuts in gear and nothing else on the build can be tested until the loop is closed.
Closing It Properly
The eliminator supplies the state the ECU expects rather than bridging pins. Nothing is stored and the display stays clean.
Six Model Years
The fitment covers 2021 to 2026. Suzuki has not altered the sidestand wiring since the redesign.
Torque Rather Than Peak
Emissions rules cost the new Hayabusa a little at the top and Suzuki recovered it in the midrange. On a road the current bike is the quicker of the two.
Original Connector
Nothing spliced anywhere. The switch refits with the stand whenever the motorcycle returns to standard.
Not a Road Modification
If the stand is still fitted, the interlock should be connected. On a bike this heavy that is not a marginal call.
Two Hundred and Sixty-Four Kilograms
The current Hayabusa is heavy by any measure and it disguises the weight remarkably well once moving. Standing still at a junction with a stand accidentally extended is exactly the situation where that mass stops being invisible.
