The JP ACC DU020 replaces the Streetfighter V2 955's throttle assembly with a short-stroke unit that reaches full opening in sixty degrees instead of the rotation the factory chose.

A Superbike With the Fairing Removed
Ducati took the Panigale V2, fitted a handlebar and left the engine largely alone. The upright position over a superbike engine is exactly where throttle rotation becomes a topic.
The Reset Is Not Optional
The controller has to relearn the closed position after the assembly is changed, and that needs a diagnostic tool. Skipping it leaves the bike running badly or not at all.
Keeping the Standard Unit
It is the part an inspection, a dealer or a buyer will ask for. Bagged with its fasteners it goes back on in half an hour.

A Note on Resolution
Fewer degrees for the same range means each degree does more. That is the entire trade and it cuts both ways depending on where the motorcycle is ridden.

The change arrived quietly across fifteen years, driven by legislation that needed the engine able to disagree with the rider. Once the link was electronic the grip stopped being a mechanism. Everything about this part follows from that, including why it needs teaching.
After a Fall
A bar end takes the impact in most low-speed drops, and a machined body generally survives what breaks a moulded one. That is a side effect of the construction rather than a reason to buy it.
