Ein kurzlebiges Modell
Kawasaki hat die 250SL als Einzylinder-Alternative zur zweizylindrigen 250R gebaut und zwei Saisons lang verkauft. Modellspezifische Teile dafür gab es nie in Menge und sie sind seither dünner geworden — ein Teil, das über den Schalterstecker definiert ist statt über den Modellcode, bleibt verfügbar.
Leicht genug für eine Startaufstellung
Mit rund 150 kg trocken war das eines der leichtesten Sportmotorräder von Kawasaki, und einige haben den Weg in günstige Rennklassen gefunden. Der Seitenständer kommt dafür herunter, und ohne dieses Teil startet das Motorrad nicht.
Nicht mit der 250R verwechseln
