Die große Reiseenduro von Triumph
Triumphs größte Reiseenduro nutzt einen Dreizylinder statt der Zweizylinder, die die Konkurrenz verbaut, was ihr über den gesamten Drehzahlbereich einen ganz eigenen Charakter gibt.
Die Original-Elektronik bleibt unberührt
Zündzeitpunkt, Drehzahlbegrenzer, Traktionskontrolle und sämtliche Fahrmodi bleiben beim Serien-Steuergerät. Dieses Gerät steuert die Kraftstoffmenge und hat auf nichts anderes Zugriff.
Das Gerät montieren
Unter dem Sitz oder unter dem Tank, befestigt und trocken, mit einem USB-Anschluss, der ohne halbe Demontage des Motorrads erreichbar ist. Dieser letzte Punkt lohnt sich zu bedenken, bevor die Kabelbinder angebracht werden.

Vor der ersten Änderung
Das Motorrad mit leerem Kennfeld fahren und aufschreiben, was stört. Diese Liste ist mehr wert als jede Theorie darüber, wo ein Werkskennfeld zu mager abgestimmt ist.
Katalysator-Entfernung
Den Katalysator zu entfernen verändert den Gegendruck und beseitigt ein Bauteil, von dem das Werkskennfeld ausgegangen ist. Das ist einer der stärksten Gründe, ein programmierbares Gerät zu betreiben.
Der Anschlussstutzen für die Breitband-Sonde
Die meisten Nachrüst-Auspuffanlagen haben einen freien Anschluss oder lassen sich einen einschweißen. Das vor der Montage der Auspuffanlage zu planen, erspart ein erneutes Abbauen – etwas, an das vorher niemand denkt.
