Die Warmlaufanfettung ist Aufgabe des serienmäßigen Steuergeräts. Eine Karte kann für einen kalten Motor angepasst werden, aber die grundlegende Strategie lässt sich von diesem Steuergerät nicht ändern.
Nichts wird deaktiviert
Das Steuergerät schaltet nichts ab. Es arbeitet neben den serienmäßigen Strategien statt um sie herum, weshalb der Fehlerspeicher sauber bleibt.
Eine Karte hat keine Obergrenze
Anders als eine feste Kurve kann sie sich immer weiter verbessern, solange jemand daran arbeitet. Das ist das Argument für den höheren Preis, und es ist nur für einen Besitzer etwas wert, der die Arbeit tatsächlich macht.
