The Same Engine, Different Frame
Suzuki rebodied the SV as the Gladius with a trellis frame and softer styling. The engine and its injection carried straight over.
Where It Lives
Under the seat or beneath the tank on most machines, cable-tied where it cannot chafe and where water does not collect. Two hundred grams in that position affects nothing about how the motorcycle handles.
Altitude and Air Temperature
The standard controller already compensates using its own sensors, and the module's correction is applied on top of whatever it decides. Riding somewhere high or hot does not require anything to be changed.
Service History Stays Readable
A workshop reads the standard controller and finds the standard controller. That is worth more on a motorcycle that will be sold than most owners realise while they still own it.
A Narrow Tool, Used Precisely
The module has exactly one lever: how long each injector stays open. Everything the product achieves comes from applying that lever at the right load and the right engine speed, which is knowledge rather than hardware.
Nothing at the Pump
Fuel consumption stays where it was within any margin anybody can measure on a road. Claims in either direction should be treated with suspicion.
What the Price Covers
Development of a curve for one engine, a harness with the right connectors and a sealed body. The last two are cheap; the first is why the catalogue is a list of motorcycles.
What the Seat Hides
On most modern motorcycles the injector harness runs under the seat within reach of the fuel pump connector. That is why so many of these installations are a twenty-minute job.
