Fast jede 950 ist rot
Ducati hat dieses Modell in einer kurzen Farbliste verkauft, und die große Mehrheit verließ das Werk in Rot. Das ist in Ordnung – und zugleich der Grund, warum eine 950 auf dem Parkplatz sehr nach der nächsten aussieht.
Carbonflanken sind der günstigste Weg, das ohne Lackierung zu ändern. Sie brechen den größten Farbblock am Motorrad auf, und weil sie ersetzen statt überkleben, liest sich das Ergebnis als Ausstattung und nicht als Dekoration.

Montage
Beide Teile lose aufsetzen, bevor eine einzige Schraube festgezogen wird. Zuerst die vordere Fuge arbeiten, dann die Linie am Tank, dann von der Mitte nach außen anziehen.
Jede Gummitülle kommt zurück. Ohne sie sitzt ein steifes Teil hart an einem arbeitenden Rahmen, und der Riss entsteht am Befestigungsauge.
