Der linke Flügel ist das große flache Paneel neben dem Scheinwerfer und die größte Carbonfläche an der Front dieses Motorrads. Die Asymmetrie des Gesichts gehört bei der S1000R zur Gestaltung, und dieses Paneel trägt die Hälfte davon.

Das Paneel, an dem sich die Gewebeführung zeigt
Eine große, nahezu flache Fläche ist der schwierigste Ort, um einen Fehler im Aufbau zu verbergen. Gerade gelegtes Twill läuft als parallele Diagonalen über das ganze Paneel; jede Abweichung zeigt sich als Bogen, wo eine Gerade sein sollte, und in dieser Größe ist das aus mehreren Metern zu sehen.
Es ist das Paneel, das man sich bei einer Lieferung zuerst ansieht – und dasjenige, das den Kauf bei einem Hersteller rechtfertigt, der unter Druck härtet statt nur im Sack.
Passend für
BMW S1000R, Modelljahre 2013 bis 2020, linke Seite. Der passende rechte Flügel und die Mittelabdeckung sind eigene Artikel, alle drei gibt es auch als Satz. Das Modell ab 2021 nimmt keines davon.
Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Behandeln Sie es als Ersatz-Verkleidungsteil und klären Sie die Lage für Ihre eigene Zulassung vor dem Straßeneinsatz.
Wann das Einzelteil das Richtige ist
Es gibt einen Fall, in dem der einzelne Flügel den Satz schlägt: ein Motorrad, das links umgefallen ist und genau dieses Paneel braucht, während die anderen beiden einwandfrei sind. Dann ist dies der richtige Artikel und der Satz wäre Verschwendung.
Für einen Aufbau von Serie aus lieber den Satz bestellen. Einen einzelnen neuen Carbonflügel an ein achtzehn Monate älteres Paneel anzugleichen, ist schwerer als es klingt, weil die Lacktiefe zwischen Fertigungschargen schwankt, auch wenn die Spezifikation gleich bleibt.
