Da unten sitzt ein Geber
Eine moderne Multistrada macht viel mit der Ganginformation. Schwellen der Traktionskontrolle, Schaltautomat, Tempomat und die Anzeige im Display hängen daran, welcher Gang gemeldet wird – und die Technik, die das meldet, sitzt in dieser Ecke des Motors.
Nichts davon ist Aufgabe der Abdeckung, und nichts davon fällt aus, weil eine Abdeckung fehlt. Es ist aber der Grund, warum man diese Stelle nicht saisonweise offen für weggeschleudertes Kettenfett, Split und Hochdruckstrahl lassen sollte.
Praktisch heißt das auch: Beim Reinigen den Strahl nie direkt in diese Ecke halten. Was hinter die Abdeckung gedrückt wird, kommt von allein nicht wieder heraus.

Zulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Betriebserlaubnis aus. Die Abdeckung des Antriebs an der Ausgangswelle ist in mehreren Märkten vorgeschrieben, der Abdeckungsumfang gehört erhalten.
Montage
Die Auflagefläche säubern, damit die Abdeckung plan sitzt, dann prüfen, dass der Schalthebel beide Enden seines Weges erreicht, ohne anzustehen. Falls ein Stecker gelöst war, vollständig einrasten lassen.
