Das 245 Twill bringt das diagonale, kreuzschraffierte Muster mit, das mit Motorsport-Maschinen assoziiert wird, und eignet sich für Fahrer, die für ihre 899 eine aggressivere optische Identität anstreben. Beide Gewebe sind in einem hochglänzenden Lack oder einer seidenmatten Klarlackierung erhältlich, jeweils UV-stabilisiert gegen Verblassen und Oberflächenrisse.
Luftführung und Leistung
Der Austausch des originalen Kunststoff-Lufteinlassgehäuses gegen dieses Carbon-Set reduziert die ungefederte Verkleidungsmasse und verbessert das thermische Umfeld rund um die Airbox — Carbon leitet und strahlt Wärme anders ab als spritzgegossener Kunststoff und hält die Ansauglufttemperatur dadurch stabiler.
