Wo das Gewicht tatsächlich sitzt
Das Serienteil ist gepresstes Stahlblech mit Lack darauf, und genau deshalb ist dies eines der wenigen Carbonteile an irgendeinem Motorrad, bei dem man den Unterschied spürt statt ihn zu diskutieren. Es ist ungefedert, es sitzt vor der Lenkachse, und beides vervielfacht, was ein paar hundert Gramm ausmachen.
Niemand sollte Verkleidungsteile wegen Rundenzeiten kaufen. Aber unter allem in dieser Reihe ist der vordere Kotflügel das Teil mit einer echten mechanischen Begründung.
Modernes Gewebe auf einer Form von 1972
Darüber lohnt es sich vor der Bestellung nachzudenken. Die Z900RS ist die sorgfältige Rekonstruktion einer Maschine aus einer Zeit vor dem Kohlefaser-Verbund, und ein Twill-Gewebe ist unverkennbar gegenwärtig. Für manche Besitzer ist genau dieser Kontrast der Reiz, andere montieren ein Teil, schauen es bei Tageslicht an und bauen es wieder ab.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Kawasaki Z900RS, Modelljahre 2018 bis 2026, an der originalen Gabel und den Originalhaltern. Fullsix führt das Modell ohne Unterscheidung nach Cafe und SE, wer eine dieser Versionen fährt, vergleicht vor der Bestellung die Halterpositionen.
Straßenzulassung
Fullsix weist für dieses Teil weder eine ABE noch eine EG-Typgenehmigung aus.
Montage
Den Kotflügel beim Eindrehen der letzten Schrauben abstützen, damit er sich nicht auf den Haltern verzieht, und den Reifenfreigang bei eingefederter Gabel kontrollieren.
