Diese Deckel sind durch die Verkleidungsöffnungen an beiden Flanken zu sehen, und die Öffnungen sind an einer Panigale nicht symmetrisch. Eine Seite fertig und die andere offen liest sich nicht als Zwischenstand, sondern als Versehen.
Gemessen an dem, was das Paar neben den Trägern kostet, ist beides zu machen die naheliegende Entscheidung. Der einzige Grund, sie zu trennen, ist ein beschädigter einzelner Deckel – und genau deshalb führt Fullsix sie einzeln.
Es gibt einen zweiten Grund, sie zusammen zu bestellen. Als Paar bestellt stammen beide aus einem Fertigungslauf, und auf benachbarten Carbonflächen sieht man die Gewebelage im streifenden Licht. Monate auseinander bestellt riskiert man einen Unterschied, den keine Politur auflöst.
Tragend ist keiner der beiden. Sie halten nichts, nehmen keine Last auf, und ihre ganze Aufgabe ist es, aus sichtbarer Technik eine fertige Fläche zu machen.
