Konstruktion und Materialien
Der Wave 1S D1 Air ist um eine thermogeformte Stützstruktur mit doppelter Dichte aufgebaut, die den Oberkörper in einer durchgängigen, anatomischen Kurve umschließt. Die harte Polypropylen-Außenschale ist perforiert und in ein Wellenprofil gepresst — ein Design, das die Platte gleichzeitig gegen punktuelle Stöße versteift und Kanäle öffnet, durch die Luft frei hindurchströmen kann. Darunter bietet der Aluminium-Wabenrahmen ein starres Gitter zur Energieverteilung, und die Crash Absorb® Schaumstoffschicht übernimmt die letzte Stufe der Stoßdämpfung — gemeinsam erreichen sie den Schwellenwert nach EN 1621-2:2014 Level 2, ohne sich auf übermäßige Materialstärke zu verlassen.
