Zwölf Bauteile, einmal bestellt: die obere Maske, der Bugspoiler mit seinen beiden Haltern, beide Flanken, beide Flügel und das komplette Rennheck mit Unterteil, Abstützung und Haltern. Alles, was nötig ist, um eine R9 von der Straßenverkleidung zur rennfertigen Maschine zu bringen, vorn und hinten.

Den ganzen Aufbau planen, nicht nur die Verkleidung
Der Satz deckt die Formteile ab. Ein fertiges Motorrad braucht meist vier weitere Dinge aus demselben Programm, und die bestellt man jetzt leichter als mitten im Aufbau: ein Sitzpolster, das eine Anpassung an den Fahrer ist und in drei Stufen kommt; den Cockpithalter AL2001Y, weil das Instrument mit der Serienfront seine Aufnahme verliert; eines der drei Ansaugrohre samt Halter IN2004Y; und den Airboxhalter IN2003Y. Der Kühlerschacht CY20072 und der Frontkotflügel CY19010 sind optional, werden aber häufig gleich mitgenommen.
Eine junge Plattform, ein dünner Zubehörmarkt
Die R9 ist neu, und das merkt man daran, was es für sie gibt. Die Auswahl ist weit geringer als für eine R6, die seit zwanzig Jahren Rennen fährt, und die Lieferzeiten der Teile, die es gibt, sind länger, weil nichts in Stückzahl auf einem Regal liegt. Die praktische Folge ist Terminplanung und nicht Geld: über den Winter bestellen, den Lackierer einrechnen und ein erstes Rennen nicht um ein Lieferdatum herum planen.
