Warum jemand ein älteres Instrument verbaut
Drei Gründe, alle praktisch. Ein Team, das seit Jahren 600er fährt, hat 2013er-Displays im Regal und einen Fahrer, der das Layout ohne Nachdenken kennt. Ein aus Teilen aufgebautes Motorrad — eine verunfallte PC69, um das herum aufgebaut, was verfügbar war — endet oft mit einer Mischung aus Generationen. Und ein Display ist ein empfindliches, teures Ding, das im Sturz kaputtgeht, weshalb ein austauschbarer Ersatz, der auf denselben Halter passt, an einem Rennwochenende etwas wert ist.
Dasselbe Rohr, andere Schnittstelle
Alle vier PC69-Cockpithalter sitzen auf demselben Carbonin-Rohr 2024. Das macht einen Instrumentenwechsel zu einer Frage von einem Teil statt eines Umbaus des Vorderbaus — und es erlaubt einem Team, an einer Maschine das 2024er-Display und an einer anderen das von 2013 zu fahren, mit derselben Verkleidung und demselben Rohr an beiden.
Was dieser Halter nicht löst
Das ältere Instrument zu montieren ist eine mechanische Lösung, keine elektrische. Ob das 2013er-Display mit dem Kabelbaum der PC69 und ihrer IMU-basierten Elektronik spricht, ist eine eigene Frage mit einer eigenen Antwort, und diese Halterung beantwortet sie nicht. Wer diesen Weg plant, klärt zuerst die Elektrik und kauft dann den Halter.
