CY20300 ist die obere Hälfte des R9-Rennhecks: das Teil, auf dem der Fahrer tatsächlich sitzt, in Carbon geformt und für ein Rennpolster ausgeschnitten. Es ersetzt die serienmäßige Heckverkleidung samt Beleuchtung, Soziusvorbereitung und Kennzeichenhalter.

Wo der Fahrer sitzt, ist eine Einstellung
Sitzhöhe und Lage des hinteren Anschlags gehören ebenso zum Setup wie Federraten, und sie sind das, was die meisten Fahrer nie ändern. Bei der R9 kommt hinzu, dass sie von einer Naked-Bike-Plattform stammt und die Serien-Sitzposition bewusst weniger extrem ausfällt als bei einer reinen Supersportlerin. Ein Rennheck ändert das: Es ist flacher, es endet früher, und es gibt dem Fahrer beim Bremsen eine definierte Kante zum Abstützen statt einer gepolsterten Schräge zum Herunterrutschen. Wer von einer R6 kommt, findet sich sofort zurecht; wer von einer MT-09 kommt, nicht.
Was außerdem gebraucht wird
Die Einheit wird roh geliefert. Ein Polster ist erforderlich und kommt in drei Stufen — BASIC FM2010Y, STANDARD FM2050Y und PROFESSIONAL FM2060Y. Der untere Sitzteil CY20301, die Abstützung CY20310 und der Halter IN2005Y vervollständigen die Baugruppe.
