Euro 5 hat verändert, was eine Zubehöranlage leisten muss. Ab 2021 musste die Ninja H2 SX die strengere Norm erfüllen, und ein Dämpfer, der die Abgastechnik einfach weglässt, nimmt die Typgenehmigung gleich mit. Dieser hier trägt seinen eigenen Katalysator und lässt die Papiere unangetastet.

Der Katalysator ist der ganze Punkt
28,9 Prozent Ersparnis sind weniger, als ein Rennsportdämpfer ohne Katalysator zeigen würde — und genau diesen Unterschied bezahlen Sie hier. Den Katalysator in der Anlage zu behalten heißt: Das Abgas wird weiterhin behandelt, das Steuergerät sieht, was es erwartet, und die Maschine lässt sich ohne Diskussion vorführen.
Es bedeutet auch, dass die Gasannahme von der ersten Fahrt an sauber ist. Akrapovic nennt perfekte Ansprache ohne neues Mapping, und das ist nur erreichbar, solange die Sonden einen behandelten Abgasstrom messen.
Zwei Auslässe, ein Dämpfer
Die Endkappe trägt zwei Austritte aus einem Körper. An einem aufgeladenen Motor hält das die Gasgeschwindigkeit über einen breiteren Bereich oben, als eine große Öffnung es täte, und es gibt dem Heck eine Symmetrie, die der einzelne Serienaustritt nicht hat.
Welche Generation Sie haben
Dieses Teil ist für die Ninja H2 SX ab 2021. Die Maschinen von 2018 bis 2020 stammen aus der Zeit vor Euro 5, haben eine andere Auspuffanordnung und nehmen stattdessen S-K10SO21-HRAABL. Auf dem Foto sehen die beiden ähnlich aus und sind nicht austauschbar — prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung das Modelljahr.
Warum ein Slip-On an einem aufgeladenen Motor genügt
An einem Saugmotor bestimmen die Krümmer einen großen Teil dessen, was eine Auspuffanlage erreichen kann, und ein Slip-On holt davon nur einen Teil. Ein aufgeladener Motor arbeitet anders: Den Druck, den die Zylinder sehen, bestimmt der Lader und nicht der Auspuff — den Dämpfer zu tauschen holt also den größten Teil dessen, was überhaupt zu holen ist.
Deshalb bietet Akrapovic das Teil für die H2 SX als Slip-On und nicht als Komplettanlage an, und deshalb ist die Plug-and-play-Montage ohne neues Mapping realistisch und nicht schöngerechnet. Die Motorsteuerung sieht einen Abgasstrom, den sie ohnehin kennt.
