Kein Katalysator, keine Straßenzulassung. Akrapovic sagt es unumwunden: Die offene Ausführung dieser Anlage wurde ausschließlich für Rennstrecken und geschlossene Kurse entwickelt. Für Strecken mit Geräuschlimit liegt ein Dämpfereinsatz bei.

Zwei Zahlen, die sich widersprechen
Die Beschreibung von Akrapovic zu dieser Anlage nennt 3,0 kg weniger als serienmäßig. Die technischen Daten desselben Herstellers geben 7,7 kg in Serie und 5,8 kg montiert an — 1,9 kg, also 24,7 Prozent. Beides passt nicht zusammen, und die technischen Werte sind die, die aufgehen; deshalb stehen sie auf dieser Seite.
Fünf PS an einer 689er
Aus 70,8 PS werden 75,0 — ein Zuwachs von 5,9 Prozent an Yamahas CP2-Twin, und die 4,2 Nm bei 5.500/min zählen für das Fahrgefühl noch mehr. Die R7 ist ein Sportmotorrad auf einem bescheidenen Motor; eine Anlage, die Mitte und Spitze zugleich anhebt, verändert ihren Charakter und nicht nur ihr Geräusch.
Den Katalysator wegzulassen macht das möglich — und nimmt zugleich die Zulassung. Das eine ist vom anderen nicht zu trennen.
Versteckt, wo es hingehört
Der Resonator sitzt unter dem Aufbau, verdeckt von den unteren Verkleidungsteilen, sodass vom sichtbaren Teil der Anlage allein der Dämpfer bleibt. An einem verkleideten Sportler ist das die richtige Entscheidung — eine Racing Line, die ihre Rohrführung zeigte, sähe genau in dem Moment unfertig aus, in dem sie zweckmäßig aussehen soll.
Neunzig Minuten, und was dabei herunterkommt
Das hier ist eine Komplettanlage, und die angegebenen 90 Minuten bilden das ehrlich ab. Serienkrümmer, Sammler und Katalysator kommen vollständig ab, und an einem verkleideten Sportler müssen dafür die unteren Verkleidungsteile herunter. Das ist Werkstattarbeit.
Zurück kommen Krümmer und Verbindungsrohr aus Edelstahl mit einem Titandämpfer, und die Motorsteuerung bleibt serienmäßig — ein neues Mapping verlangt Akrapovic für diese Anlage nicht.
Passform
S-Y7R15-APT deckt die Yamaha R7 für das Modelljahr 2026 ab. Die Montagezeit ist mit 90 Minuten angegeben, was einer Komplettanlage entspricht: Serienkrümmer, Sammler und Katalysator kommen vollständig ab. Für frühere R7-Modelljahre ist S-Y7R14-HAPT das passende Teil.
Zulassung
Keine. Die offene Ausführung dieser Anlage hat keinen Katalysator und wurde ausschließlich für Rennstrecken oder geschlossene Kurse entwickelt. Der Betrieb an einem zugelassenen Motorrad liegt in der Verantwortung des Halters.
