Zehn Komma neun PS an einem Motor, der bereits 179 leistet. An einem aufgeladenen Motorrad ist das ein überraschender Wert — normalerweise bestimmt der Lader und nicht der Auspuff, was der Motor kann — und es ist das, was ein Krümmer findet, wo ein Slip-On nichts holt.

Warum ein aufgeladener Motor trotzdem reagiert
Der Akrapovic-Slip-On für die Z H2 bringt 1,0 PS. Dieser Krümmer bringt 10,9. Der Grund liegt darin, wo die Drosselung sitzt.
Ein Kompressor drückt Luft hinein, unabhängig davon, was der Auspuff tut — deshalb ändert ein Dämpfertausch wenig. Der Serienkrümmer trägt aber den Katalysator, und an einem aufgeladenen Motor, der so viel Gas bewegt, ist der Katalysator der Flaschenhals. Ihn zu entfernen lässt die Arbeit des Laders an der Kurbelwelle ankommen.
Eine Sonde oder zwei
Akrapovic gibt an, dass dieses Teil an Maschinen mit einer oder mit zwei Lambdasonden passt. Das ist wichtig, weil Kawasaki die Sondenanordnung im Laufe des Z-H2-Lebens für Euro 5+ geändert hat.
An einer Euro-5+-Maschine mit zwei Sonden geht nach dem Einbau die Motorkontrollleuchte an, weil das Steuergerät eine Abweichung an den Katalysatorparametern erkennt. Das ist mit diesem Teil zu erwarten und kein Defekt; ein neues Mapping ist der Weg, es aufzulösen.

Dieser Krümmer braucht einen Akrapovic-Slip-On zur Vervollständigung — für die Z H2 ist das S-K10SO31-HGITBL, das schwarz beschichtete Titanteil mit eigenem Katalysator. Beachten Sie: Der Slip-On allein ist typgenehmigt; mit diesem Krümmer entfällt diese Genehmigung.
Zwei Krümmer für die Z H2
Akrapovic baut diesen Krümmer in zwei Ausführungen nach Modelljahr. E-K10R8 deckt 2024 bis 2026 ab, E-K10R6 die früheren Maschinen. Die veröffentlichten Werte sind für beide gleich, die Teile sind aber nicht austauschbar — Kawasaki hat die Lambdasondenanordnung für Euro 5+ geändert, und die Flanschgeometrie ist gefolgt.
Prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung die Erstzulassung. Einer Z H2 sieht man ihre Abgasnorm von außen nicht an.
