Dreizehn Modelle über zweiundzwanzig Jahre. Das ist die breiteste Passform aller Teile in unserem Akrapovic-Sortiment — ein Rastensatz, der an eine F 700 GS von 2013 geht, an eine R 1300 GS von 2025 und an eine R 12 nineT, weil BMW die Rastenaufnahme über all diese Maschinen hinweg beibehalten hat.

Warum die Passformliste so lang ist
BMWs Boxer-GS und die F-Baureihe mit Reihenzweizylinder teilen sich eine Rastenaufnahme, die sich seit der R 1200 GS von 2004 kaum verändert hat. Akrapovic hat einen Satz auf diese Schnittstelle gebaut, und er trägt durch die ganze Familie — einschließlich R 12 und R 12 nineT, die Roadster sind und keine Reiseenduros.
Prüfen Sie Ihre Maschine gegen die Liste, statt sie vorauszusetzen. Die R 1200 GS endete 2018, die R 1250 GS lief bis 2023 und die R 1300 GS begann 2024 — maßgeblich ist also das Jahr Ihres Motorrads und nicht die Spanne insgesamt.
Grade-5-Titan, gegossen statt gefräst
Akrapovic gießt diese Rasten in der eigenen Gießerei, statt sie aus dem Vollen zu fräsen. Ein Guss kann Material genau dort tragen, wo die Last liegt, und sonst nirgends — so bekommt eine einteilige Raste zugleich die Festigkeit zum Stehen auf grobem Untergrund und ein Gewicht, das den Preis wert ist.
Grade 5 ist die Legierung aus dem Flugzeugbau: hochfest und korrosionsbeständig. Eine GS, die Streusalz sieht, frisst diese Rasten nicht.
Die Zähne und die Auflagen
Die Mittelzähne beißen sich in die Stiefelsohle, wenn Sie im Gelände auf den Rasten stehen. Das will man auf dem Trail und ausdrücklich nicht auf vier Stunden Autobahn — deshalb liegt ein Paar Gummiauflagen bei.
Sie gehen ohne Werkzeug drauf und wieder ab. Für die Straßenetappe aufsetzen, am Geländeeinstieg abziehen.
Hinweis zur Montage
Akrapovic weist darauf hin, dass beim Einbau das originale Befestigungsmaterial weiterverwendet werden muss. Werfen Sie Bolzen und Sicherungen nicht mit den Serienrasten weg — der Satz enthält keinen Ersatz.
Was eine Fußraste tatsächlich aushalten muss
Eine Fußraste trägt das gesamte Gewicht des Fahrers über eine Auflagefläche von der Größe einer Hand, und sie tut es, während das Motorrad über unebenen Grund fährt. Fällt die Maschine dann um, wird sie zu dem Punkt, auf dem das Motorrad kippt — oft mit einem beladenen Koffer als zusätzlichem Hebel.
Das sind zwei völlig verschiedene Lasten. Die erste ist wiederholt und senkrecht, die zweite eine einzelne heftige Biegekraft von der Seite. Ein einteiliges Gussteil mit innerer Y-Verstrebung beantwortet beide — deshalb hat Akrapovic nicht einfach eine breitere Fassung der Serienraste gebaut.
An einer GS, nicht nur an einer Reiseenduro
Die Liste enthält die R 12 und die R 12 nineT, Roadster ohne jeden Geländeanspruch. Eine Enduroraste daran zu bauen klingt eigenartig, bis man eine nineT mit aufgesetzten Gummiauflagen gefahren ist: Eine breitere Plattform ist schlicht bequemer, und BMWs Serienraste ist klein.
Die Zähne sind da, wenn Sie sie wollen, und abgedeckt, wenn nicht.
