Akrapovics Beschreibung dieses Teils ist einen Satz lang: Werden die Soziusrasten entfernt, wird dieser optionale Dämpferhalter aus Carbon gebraucht. Das ist der ganze Zweck, und mehr muss man vor der Bestellung nicht wissen — außer, welche ZX-10R-Generation in der Garage steht.

Welche ZX-10R
Kawasaki baute diese Generation von 2011 bis zur Überarbeitung 2016, und sie hat einen eigenen Heckrahmen. Akrapovic fertigt für die Maschinen ab 2021 einen eigenen Carbonhalter, und die beiden sind nicht austauschbar — die Artikelnummern sehen ähnlich aus, die Aufnahmepunkte nicht.
Prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung das Modelljahr. An einem gebrauchten Superbike, das schon mehrere Besitzer hatte, ist das nicht immer so offensichtlich, wie es klingt.
Warum die Rasten abkommen
Clubsport-Reglements verlangen es, die meisten Trackday-Veranstalter bitten darum, und ein Motorrad, das nie einen Sozius trägt, hat keinen Grund, mehrere hundert Gramm Halterei hoch am Heckrahmen zu behalten.
Was dabei überrascht: Kawasaki hängt den Dämpfer an dasselbe Gussteil. Baut man die Rastenanlage aus, hat der Auspuff hinten keine Aufnahme mehr — und genau dieses Problem löst der Halter.
Kein veröffentlichtes Gewicht
Akrapovic nennt zu diesem Teil keine Zahl, und hier wird keine geschätzt. Der vergleichbare Halter für die spätere ZX-10R ist mit 100 Gramm gegen serienmäßige 300 angegeben; das gibt ein Gefühl für die Größenordnung, ohne eine Zahl zu sein, die zu diesem Teil gehört.
Der Grund für Carbon ist hier ohnehin nicht das Gewicht. Es ist, dass der Halter offen unter dem Heck neben dem Dämpfer sitzt, und ein geformtes Carbonteil sieht dort zugehörig aus, wie eine gekantete Aluplatte es nicht tut.
Carbon, einmal geformt
Ein solcher Halter wird in einer Form laminiert und nicht aus Blech geschnitten — deshalb kann er der Rundung des Heckrahmens folgen, statt sie durch Kanten anzunähern. Deshalb ist er auch nicht verstellbar: Die Form ist das Teil, und ein Halter für einen Heckrahmen lässt sich an einem anderen nicht überreden.
Optional, und nur manchmal
Klar gesagt: Für eine serienmäßige Montage wird das nicht gebraucht. Eine ZX-10R mit montierten Soziusrasten trägt den Dämpfer bestens an der Werksaufnahme, und ein Akrapovic-Slip-On wird direkt daran verschraubt.
Den Halter gibt es für eine bestimmte Lage, und wer ihn kauft, ohne in dieser Lage zu sein, kauft ein Teil für die Schublade.
Zulassung
Nicht einschlägig. Ein Befestigungshalter ist weder ein Abgas- noch ein Geräuschbauteil, und es hängt keine Genehmigung daran. Ob das Motorrad straßenlegal ist, entscheidet die Anlage, die er hält.
