Das Problem, das er löst
An der R7 hängt der Dämpfer an der Aufnahme der Soziusrasten. Clubsport-Reglements verlangen deren Ausbau, die meisten Trackday-Veranstalter bitten darum — und in dem Moment, in dem sie abkommen, hält den Auspuff hinten nichts mehr.
Dieser Halter übernimmt diese Aufgabe. Ohne ihn kann ein Fahrer, der das Motorrad korrekt für die Strecke vorbereitet hat, die Anlage nicht montieren, die er dafür gekauft hat.
Zwei Racing Lines, ein Halter
Akrapovic nennt beide Anlagen, zu denen er gehört: S-Y7R15-APT und S-Y7R14-HAPT, die beiden Titan-Racing-Lines der R7 von 2026. Sie unterscheiden sich in Aufbau und Preis; der Halter ist für beide derselbe.

Warum hier Aluminium
Carbon ist leichter, und Akrapovic verwendet es an anderen Maschinen für den entsprechenden Halter. Aluminium verzeiht eine punktuelle Last eher und lässt sich nach einem Sturz leichter beurteilen — an einem Motorrad, das irgendwann in seinem Leben gestürzt wird, ist das ein vernünftiger Handel.
Es ist außerdem günstiger herzustellen, und das zählt bei einem Teil, das nur ein Teil der Kunden je braucht.
Kein veröffentlichtes Gewicht
Akrapovic nennt keine Zahl, und hier wird keine erfunden. Zur Einordnung: Der Carbonhalter, den das Haus für ein anderes Superbike fertigt, ist mit 100 Gramm gegen eine 300-Gramm-Serienaufnahme angegeben — das ist ein anderes Teil an einem anderen Motorrad und steht hier nur als Größenordnung.
Was die Serienaufnahme leistet
Yamaha fasst Soziusrastenträger und Auspuffaufhängung in einem Gussteil zusammen, was dem Werk ein Bauteil und eine Schraubverbindung spart. Für ein Straßenmotorrad ist das vernünftig konstruiert und für ein Rennmotorrad unpraktisch, denn die beiden Aufgaben lassen sich nicht trennen, ohne die Hälfte zu ersetzen, die bleiben soll.
Ein neues Motorrad
Yamaha überarbeitete die R7 zum Jahr 2026. Zu den ersten verfügbaren Zubehörteilen dafür zu gehören ist ein Teil des Grundes, warum es diesen Halter überhaupt gibt — und es heißt, dass die Passungsliste eine Weile kurz bleiben wird.
Optional, nicht automatisch
Klar gesagt: Eine R7 mit montierten Soziusrasten braucht das nicht. Die Racing Line sitzt bestens an der Serienaufnahme. Den Halter gibt es für eine bestimmte Ausführung, und wer ihn außerhalb dieser Ausführung kauft, kauft ein Ersatzteil.
Zulassung
Nicht einschlägig. Ein Befestigungshalter trägt keine Abgas- oder Geräuschgenehmigung. Ob das Motorrad auf die Straße darf, entscheidet die Anlage — und beide Racing Lines, denen dieser Halter dient, sind Streckenanlagen.
