Alles an diesem Deckel ist Aluminium, auf CNC-Anlagen geschnitten, eine Bauweise, die Accossato als robust und langlebig beschreibt, und die Form ist eine eigene. Die Klinke schließt schnell, und das ist der Zweck des Teils: An der Street Triple steht der Tank nur so lange offen, wie das Einfüllen dauert, nicht länger. Die Farbe entscheidet der Stift in dieser Klinke, und sechs stehen zur Auswahl, von Silber und Schwarz bis zu Gold. Wird die Klinke im Laufe einer Saison beschädigt, ist sie einzeln erhältlich, sodass ein kleines Missgeschick in der Box klein bleibt.
