Die Buell EBR 1190 ist ein V2-Sportler für die Modelljahre 2012 bis 2017, und wie die meisten Motorräder ihrer Art verlässt sie das Werk mit einem Original-Tankdeckel, der sich meist abschließen lässt und an den die wenigsten Fahrer je einen Gedanken verschwenden. Accossatos FC148 ist ein Tankdeckel mit Schnellverschluss für die EBR 1190, vollständig aus Aluminium gefräst und mit einer Klinke statt einem Schloss verschlossen, sodass sich der Tank in einer einzigen Bewegung öffnet und wieder schließt. Die Klinke selbst, auch Stift genannt, gibt es in sechs Farben, was aus einem reinen Funktionsteil für jeden EBR-1190-Fahrer eine kleine Stilfrage macht.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fräst den FC148 komplett aus Aluminium und beschreibt den fertigen Deckel als robust und langlebig, gebaut nach einem eigenen, neuen Design statt als Kopie eines bestehenden Teils. Das eigentlich arbeitende Teil ist die schnell schließende Klinke: Hebt man sie an, öffnet sich der Tank der EBR 1190, drückt man sie zurück, ist er wieder verschlossen, ganz ohne Schlüssel und ohne Drehbewegung. Diese Klinke, auch Stift genannt, führt Accossato in sechs Farben, Blau, Grün, Schwarz, Rot, Silber oder Gold, die bei der Bestellung des FC148 gewählt werden. Sollte die Klinke einmal verbogen oder bei einem Sturz beschädigt werden, verkauft Accossato eine Ersatzklinke einzeln, sodass der restliche FC148 an der EBR 1190 montiert bleiben kann, statt komplett ersetzt zu werden.
Die passende Klinkenfarbe für die EBR 1190
Mit sechs Klinkenfarben zur Wahl ist die Montage des FC148 an einer EBR 1190 auch eine kleine Entscheidung über die Optik des Motorrads. Eine Klinke in Silber oder Gold wirkt zurückhaltend und dezent, während Blau, Grün oder Rot sich von der Verkleidung der EBR 1190 abhebt oder zu anderen farbigen Details am Motorrad passen kann. Weil Accossato die Klinke einzeln verkauft, kann ein Besitzer, der sich für eine andere Farbe entscheidet oder dessen Klinke nach der Montage des FC148 beschädigt wird, einfach eine Ersatzklinke bestellen, statt einen ganzen neuen Deckel für die EBR 1190 zu kaufen. Das macht eine Ersatzklinke auch als kleines Reserveteil sinnvoll, das man griffbereit hat, falls das Original einmal verloren geht oder abbricht.
Passform und Kompatibilität
In Accossatos eigener Anwendungsliste ist die EBR 1190 von 2012 bis 2017 für den FC148 angegeben, und unsere Listung folgt genau diesem Zeitraum. Für dieses Motorrad ist weder eine andere Version der EBR 1190 noch ein anderer Accossato-Tankdeckel in derselben Liste genannt, sodass der FC148 der einzige ist, den Sie vor der Bestellung mit Ihrem Fahrzeugschein abgleichen müssen. Es lohnt sich trotzdem, das genaue Baujahr mit der Liste zu vergleichen, da Accossato mehrere Modelljahre manchmal unter einer Artikelnummer zusammenfasst.
Straßenzulassung
Für den FC148 dokumentiert Accossato keine deutsche ABE oder eine vergleichbare Zulassung, deshalb bieten wir ihn für die Rennstrecke an. Accossatos eigene Beschreibung nennt eine schnell schließende Klinke und nichts von einem Schloss, und weil der Originaldeckel der meisten straßenzugelassenen Tanks sich üblicherweise abschließen lässt, sollten Sie sich den Tausch gegen den FC148 gut überlegen, wenn die EBR 1190 weiterhin im öffentlichen Straßenverkehr bewegt wird.
