Die letzte Ausfahrt der Saison wird selten als solche angekündigt. An einem Wochenende schlägt das Wetter um, das Salz kommt auf die Straße, und eine Panigale V4, die bis dahin alle zwei Wochen gefahren wurde, steht plötzlich monatelang still. Was in der Garage geschieht, bevor die Abdeckung darübergelegt wird, entscheidet, wie das Motorrad im Frühjahr wieder herauskommt, und die Hinterradbremse gehört dazu, denn ihre Flüssigkeit altert nach Kalender, nicht nach Kilometern. Accossatos TS012 ist der Aluminiumdeckel für ihren Behälter, eloxiert in sieben Farben.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Accossato fertigt den TS012 aus Aluminium auf CNC-Maschinen und eloxiert den fertigen Deckel in einer von sieben Farben. Das Eloxieren liegt in der Oberfläche des Metalls, eine nützliche Eigenschaft für ein Bauteil, das tief am Heck eines Motorrads montiert ist, wo die Reinigung flott und gelegentlich ausfällt. Das Teil ist für den hinteren Behälter gemacht, den Ducati an den Motorrädern der Anwendungsliste montiert, sodass eine Panigale V4 ihre serienmäßige Hinterradbremse behält und nur einen anderen Deckel erhält, nicht mehr. Die Membran unter dem alten Deckel verdient einen Blick, bevor alles wieder geschlossen wird; verhärtet oder gerissen, sollte sie zuerst ersetzt werden.
Bevor die Abdeckung draufkommt
Winterarbeiten sind angenehm, genau weil keine Eile besteht. Waschen Sie das Motorrad, lassen Sie es vollständig trocknen und arbeiten Sie die kleinen Dinge ab, für die im Juli nie Zeit bleibt. Steht die Hinterradbremse auf der Liste, stellen Sie die Panigale V4 aufrecht auf beide Räder statt auf den Seitenständer, damit der Behälter waagerecht steht, und reinigen Sie die Umgebung, bevor etwas geöffnet wird. Legen Sie ein Tuch über das Lackierte in der Nähe und halten Sie Wasser bereit, da Bremsflüssigkeit auf Lack sofort abgewaschen werden muss. Prüfen Sie den Stand an den Markierungen und die Farbe der Flüssigkeit, und sehen Sie nach, wann sie zuletzt erneuert wurde. Bremsflüssigkeit nimmt mit der Zeit Feuchtigkeit aus der Luft auf, weshalb die Bedienungsanleitung auch ein Intervall in Monaten angibt, und ein Winter in einer kühlen Garage zählt dazu. Steht der Wechsel an, lassen Sie ihn durchführen; ein neuer Deckel ist ein Deckel und kein Service. Setzen Sie den TS012 ein, ziehen Sie ihn behutsam an, betätigen Sie das Pedal einige Male, und legen Sie die Abdeckung erst dann drauf, im Wissen, dass eine weitere Aufgabe wirklich erledigt ist.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossatos Liste nennt den TS012 für den hinteren Behälter der Panigale V4 in den Jahren 2018 und 2019, einschließlich der Corse- und Special-Versionen. Er tritt an die Stelle des Originaldeckels. Inter-Pace listet dieses Teil außerdem für die DesertX, die Hypermotard 950 SP und die Benelli Leoncino 500 Trail. Wurde die Hinterradbremse Ihres Motorrads verändert, prüfen Sie vor der Bestellung die Anwendungsliste.
