Die Accossato 14x19 behält den für Roller geeigneten 14-mm-Kolben der 14x18 bei, hebt den Achsabstand aber auf 19 mm an, eine Einstellung, die Accossato zwischen ihren Empfehlungen für Rennstrecke und Straße ansiedelt, als Option für den gemischten Einsatz. Das ergibt ein etwas strafferes, direkteres Hebelgefühl als bei der 18-mm-Version, ohne vollständig in das reine Streckenterrain der weiter oben in der Baureihe liegenden 20-mm-Einstellung zu wechseln. Der starre, lange Hebel trägt eine Erleichterungsöse, das Gehäuse ist natur eloxiertes Aluminium, und der Hebel ist in mehreren Farben mit passendem Knopf erhältlich.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Jede 14-mm-Bremspumpe von Accossato, auch diese, wird aus geschmiedetem Aluminium auf CNC-Anlagen in Italien bearbeitet und natur eloxiert. Die Schrauben sind aus Edelstahl, das Entlüftungsventil ist verzinkt, und Dichtungen aus Formula-1-Compound sind verbaut, um der Hitze und dem chemischen Verschleiß häufigen Bremsens zu widerstehen. Eine versetzte Schelle verringert, wie weit sich das Gehäuse unter Last durchbiegt, und die innere Geometrie mehr als halbiert den Leerweg gegenüber einer herkömmlichen Radialeinheit gleicher Bohrung. Das M10x1-Leitungsgewinde teilt sich diese Pumpe mit jeder anderen Bremspumpe von Accossato.
Der 19-mm-Achsabstand: für Rennstrecke und Straße gemeinsam ausgelegt
Accossato positioniert den 19-mm-Achsabstand als Einstellung für den gemischten Einsatz auf Rennstrecke und Straße, zwischen der ausgewogenen 18-mm-Kennzahl und der strafferen, reinen Streckeneinstellung von 20 mm, die anderswo in der 14-mm-Baureihe verwendet wird. Mit demselben 14-mm-Kolben wie bei der 14x18 ändert sich die bewegte Flüssigkeitsmenge für einen gegebenen Hebelzug nicht; es verschiebt sich lediglich das Hebelverhältnis, was ein geringfügig direkteres, weniger gefedertes Gefühl am Hebel ergibt, ohne die zusätzliche Handkraft zu verlangen, die der 20-mm-Achsabstand fordert. Fahrer, die ihre Zeit zwischen gelegentlichen Trackdays und Straßenfahrten aufteilen, statt sich auf eines von beidem festzulegen, sind die Zielgruppe für genau diesen Achsabstand.
Passform und Kompatibilität
Accossato veröffentlicht keine Fitment-Liste für diese Bremspumpe; wie der Rest der 14-mm-Familie ist sie eine universelle Einheit für eine 22-mm-Lenkerklemmung. Messen Sie zunächst Ihren eigenen Klemmdurchmesser, bestätigen Sie, dass Ihre Bremsanlage für einen 14-mm-Kolben ausgelegt ist, und prüfen Sie den bereits montierten Sattel und die Scheibe, bevor Sie kaufen.
Straßenzulassung
Diese Radial-Bremspumpe wird ohne deutsche Straßenzulassungsunterlagen (ABE) ausgeliefert; sie ist für den Renn- und Wettkampfeinsatz vorgesehen.
Lieferumfang
Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind die Accossato Radial-Bremspumpe 14x19 mit montiertem starren, langem Hebel mit Erleichterungsöse, in der gewählten Hebelfarbe, sowie die passende Befestigungsmutter. Die Edelstahl-Befestigungsschrauben, das verzinkte Entlüftungsventil und die Dichtungen aus Formula-1-Compound sind bereits am Gerät montiert. Der Bremslichtschalter, separat erhältlich als ID001 oder ID002, sowie der Ausgleichsbehälter sind nicht enthalten und müssen gesondert erworben werden.
