Mit der Panigale V4 brachte Ducati 2018 seinen Supersportler auf einen Vierzylindermotor, der aus der MotoGP-Arbeit der Marke hervorging, und das Motorrad wurde rasch zum gewohnten Bild in den schnellen Gruppen von Trackdays. An einem stark besuchten Kurs teilen sich oft mehrere Fahrer eine Box, und Motorräder, Ständer, Wärmer, Kanister und Menschen konkurrieren alle um denselben kleinen Raum. Viele der Stöße, die ein Motorrad an einem solchen Tag abbekommt, passieren genau dort, im Schritttempo. Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der PF050 ist Accossatos Gabelschutz vorne für die Panigale V4: zwei schwarze Protektoren, einer links und einer rechts, die jeweils Aluminium mit Kunststoff verbinden. Accossato gibt an, dass die Distanzstücke, die Schrauben und alle weiteren für die Montage benötigten Teile im Karton liegen. Legt sich die V4 um, ob in einer Box oder in einem Kiesbett, sollen die Protektoren vorne den ersten Kontakt übernehmen, was den Schaden an Gabel und Achsbereich verringern kann. Sie sind zum Opfern gedacht, und ein durchgescheuerter oder gerissener Protektor wird ersetzt, nicht aufbewahrt.
Eine Box teilen
Eine geteilte Box funktioniert, wenn sich alle vor der ersten Einheit auf ein paar Dinge einigen. Legen Sie fest, wo jedes Motorrad steht, lassen Sie eine freie Gasse zur Tür und stellen Sie die Ständer so auf, dass niemand ein Motorrad über die Werkzeugkiste eines anderen Fahrers heben muss. Wärmer brauchen Strom, führen Sie die Kabel also an der Wand entlang statt über den Boden, und halten Sie Kanister deutlich davon entfernt. Boxenböden sind oft lackiert und werden mit etwas verschüttetem Öl oder Wasser schnell rutschig, genug, um einen Seitenständer oder einen Stiefel ins Gleiten zu bringen. Ein häufiger Unfall ist, dass ein Nachbar sein Motorrad ohne Hinsehen an Ihrem vorbeischiebt, lassen Sie also Abstand und drehen Sie den Lenker der Panigale V4 von der Gasse weg. Am Ende des Tages, wenn alle müde sind und hektisch packen, ist besondere Vorsicht geboten. Wurde Ihr Motorrad angestoßen, sehen Sie sich Protektoren, Hebel und Verkleidungskanten an, bevor Sie es in den Transporter laden.
