Abseits des Asphalts wird die Vorderradbremse einer Ducati Desert X anders eingesetzt. Auf Schotter und Sand muss sie bei aufrechtem Motorrad progressiv gezogen werden, denn ein Vorderrad, das auf losem Untergrund blockiert, klappt schnell weg. Staub und kleine Steine erreichen bei jeder solchen Fahrt die Scheiben. Die DKS053 von Accossato ist eine schwimmend gelagerte Vorderradbremsscheibe, gelistet für die Desert X von 2022 bis 2025: 320 mm im Durchmesser und 5,5 mm dick, ihr schwarzer Träger mit fünf Schrauben an der Nabe befestigt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
In der DKS053 sind ein Reibring und ein schwarzer Träger durch Nieten verbunden, die den Ring schwimmen lassen, sodass die Wärme den Ring ausdehnen kann, während der Träger plan am Rad bleibt. Accossato nennt eine Mittenbohrung von 72 mm und einen Lochkreis von 90 mm für die fünf Befestigungsbohrungen, Werte, die Sie mit der ausgebauten Scheibe vergleichen sollten. Der Lieferant gibt an, dass die Scheibe an die Stelle des Originalteils treten kann. Accossato führt seine Kompetenz auf den Rennsport in Superbike, Moto2 und Moto3 zurück und zählt sorgfältig abgestimmtes Spiel zwischen Ring und Träger zu den Ergebnissen.
Loser Untergrund, leichte Finger
Auf Schotter setzen erfahrene Desert-X-Fahrer die Vorderradbremse früh und behutsam ein und lassen die Hinterradbremse mehr Arbeit übernehmen als auf der Straße. Die Vorderradbremse bleibt trotzdem wichtig, denn auf einer steilen, losen Abfahrt ist sie es, die das Tempo im Zaum hält. Zwei Dinge helfen ihr dabei: Scheiben ohne Öl- und Kraftstoffrückstände, gereinigt mit Bremsenreiniger statt mit einem fettigen Lappen, und Beläge, die nicht durch langes, leichtes Schleifen verglast sind. Spülen Sie die Räder nach einem staubigen Tag mit Wasser ab, trocknen Sie die Scheiben mit ein paar sanften Bremsungen auf sauberem Asphalt und suchen Sie am Rand des Rings nach Steinschlägen.
Stehend auf den Rasten
Im Stehen geht das Gewicht des Fahrers über die Fußrasten, die Arme bleiben locker, und die Vorderradbremse wird mit einem oder zwei Fingern bedient. Dieser Griff lässt wenig Raum für ein plötzliches Zupacken am Hebel, was zu losem Untergrund passt, bedeutet aber auch, dass die Bremse berechenbar auf kleine Bewegungen der Finger ansprechen muss. Saubere Scheiben innerhalb ihrer Verschleißgrenze gehören dazu.
Passform und Kompatibilität
In Accossatos Liste erscheint die Desert X für die DKS053 von 2022 bis 2025, wobei die Desert X Rally ab 2024 und die Discovery für 2025 genannt werden. Sie ersetzt eine der beiden originalen Vorderradscheiben, und der Preis gilt pro Scheibe, die komplette Vorderradbremse braucht also zwei. Accossatos andere Scheibe für dieses Motorrad ist die DK053, einen Millimeter dünner; für welche Sie sich auch entscheiden, montieren Sie auf beiden Seiten denselben Typ.
Straßenzulassung
Für den Straßeneinsatz in Deutschland wäre eine deutsche Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) oder eine Typgenehmigung nötig, und keine von beiden ist für die DKS053 dokumentiert. Wir führen sie deshalb für Rennen und Fahrten auf abgesperrten Strecken.
