Eine WR250F auf einer langen Trail-Fahrt hat selten einen Mechaniker in Reichweite, falls mitten am Tag etwas nachjustiert werden muss, daher lohnt es sich, die Kettenspannung vor dem Start richtig einzustellen, statt zu hoffen, sie später unterwegs zu korrigieren. Accossatos RCY1 erfüllt diesen Bedarf an der WR250F der Baujahre 2009 bis 2018, ein Paar hinterer Achsblöcke mit jeweils eigener Spannschraube für eine schnelle, wiederholbare Kontrolle vor der Abfahrt.

Fertigung und Materialgüte
Der RCY1-Block sitzt dort, wo auch das serienmäßige Teil am Schwingenende sitzt, mit eigener Schraube, um die Spannung von diesem einen Punkt aus einzustellen, statt die Achse von Hand zu hebeln. Blau, Schwarz und Silber decken die angebotenen Ausführungen ab, wobei Blau dem eigenen Werkslook der WR250F sehr nahekommt. Ein Block, der nicht mehr bündig sitzt oder einen sichtbaren Riss zeigt, sollte vor der nächsten Ausfahrt ersetzt werden.
Kein Mechaniker wartet auf dem Trail
Trail-Fahren mit einer WR250F bedeutet meist, über Stunden hinweg weit weg von jeder Werkstatt zu sein, also sollte jede lohnenswerte Kontrolle vor der Abfahrt gründlich erledigt werden, statt sie auf später zu verschieben, wenn nur noch Werkzeug zur Verfügung steht, das in eine Tanktasche passt. Eine in jeden Achsblock eingebaute Spannschraube macht aus der Kettenspannung, die sonst das Motorrad auf dem Ständer braucht, eine Arbeit, die sich in der Einfahrt in wenigen Minuten prüfen und korrigieren lässt. Fahrer, die ihre eigenen Checks vor der Ausfahrt machen, schätzen es, die Achse vor einem langen Tag nicht nach Gefühl hebeln zu müssen.
Passform und Kompatibilität
