DescriptionThe whole story▼
Designed for riders who value all-day comfort without sacrificing control, the Stompgrip Icon Traction Pads for the Honda CBR 1000 RR SC77 (2017-2019) deliver a softer, less abrasive grip surface that keeps you locked in position through every bend, braking zone and acceleration point — without punishing your knees or leathers over long rides.
Key Features
- Icon Design surface offers approximately 70-75% of the grip of the classic Volcano Design, with a noticeably softer, more forgiving texture — ideal for the everyday rider
- Improved body stability and more planted cornering feel, particularly under hard braking and during acceleration out of bends
- Greater contact between rider and machine reduces the load on wrists and arm muscles, making longer stints genuinely more comfortable
- Protects the tank surface from environmental damage, scuffs and general wear
- Premium 3M adhesive backing bonds securely and removes cleanly without leaving residue
- Precision-cut fitment engineered specifically for the Honda CBR 1000 RR SC77 (2017-2019) — no trimming required
Subtlety Meets Performance
The Icon Design was created for riders who appreciate understatement — a cleaner, lower-profile aesthetic that sits closer to vintage cool than race-ready aggression. Where the Volcano Design prioritises maximum mechanical grip, the Icon surface strikes a balance that suits commuters, sport-touring riders and anyone spending sustained time in the saddle. The softer texture is gentler on riding gear and on bare skin in warmer months, yet still provides the lateral stability that keeps your body position consistent when it matters.
Colour Options
The transparent version lets the original paint or wrap of your Honda show through, preserving the factory look entirely. The black version adds a subtle visual accent that complements the CBR's sport aesthetic. A hybrid option is also available, combining elements of both for riders who want a more tailored appearance. Whichever finish you choose, the 3M adhesive ensures a secure, long-lasting bond that peels away without marking the tank when you eventually remove or replace the pads.
Fitment & Compatibility
These traction pads are cut precisely for the Honda CBR 1000 RR SC77, covering model years 2017, 2018 and 2019. They are not a universal product — the pre-cut shape follows the tank contours of the SC77 generation exactly for a seamless, factory-integrated appearance.
