The hip is one of the highest-risk and least-protected impact zones on a motorcycle — the exact point that hits the road first in a lateral low-side. Most trousers ship with empty hip pockets; the Seventy Degrees Windflex® Hip Protectors fill them with Level 2 armour sized specifically for the joint.
Type B — The Bigger Footprint
Certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 2, Type B. Type B is the larger of the two protector footprints in the standard — it covers a wider area than the compact Type A, extending protection across the greater trochanter, the bony hip point where lateral-fall injury risk concentrates. Level 2 delivers the higher impact-absorption threshold.
Moves Through Every Position
The Windflex® polymer flexes and conforms to the curved hip surface, keeping continuous contact whether you're sitting on the bike, standing on the pegs or walking around a fuel stop — without pressure points or any restriction of natural hip movement. On impact the 70 Safety Lab viscoelastic locks to absorb and dissipate the energy.
Invisible Under the Trouser
Pre-curved geometry gives it the correct resting shape from day one, tapered conical edges eliminate perimeter pressure, and the Air&Flex open-cell structure breathes to control heat. A slim, low-profile build disappears inside the garment.

Within the EU, no — our prices already include all duties and EU VAT. For deliveries outside the EU (e.g. Switzerland, the UK or the USA), your order may be subject to import duties and taxes set by your country. These are collected by the carrier when your parcel arrives, aren’t included in our prices, and are outside our control.

On out-of-stock items you can request a delivery time or leave your email to be notified the moment it returns — just use the notification box on the product.
You have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. Register your return by email first; once it’s approved you have a further 14 days to send the goods back. Items should be unused and in their original packaging.

Yes — the cheek pads are channelled so the arms of your glasses slide in comfortably.
Take out the washable lining and hand-wash it in lukewarm water. Clean the shell and visor with a soft cloth and water only — never solvents.
