Two Bolts, One Line

The aligned arrangement, which is one of the two Ducati uses. On an S the brake assembly has often already been swapped, and the replacement may well have brought the other pattern with it.

Only the Later Machines

The 2025 revision brought different handlebar hardware. Anything from the previous generation needs another part number and the two will not stand in for one another.

A Full Wrap on the Bar

Machining lets the clamp follow the tube's diameter exactly rather than approximately. The grip that produces is even, which is what stops a block creeping round under a heavy hand.

The Click a Glove Can Feel

A switch communicates through the sharpness of its action more than through anything else. Rigid walls transmit that; a moulded shell that flexes slightly under a thumb quietly softens it.

Threads That Survive Removal

Cut into solid aluminium rather than formed into plastic. On a motorcycle whose bodywork comes off regularly, fasteners that can be worked repeatedly are worth more than they cost.

Overnight Is Worse Than Riding

The damage happens while the bike is stationary and cooling, drawing moisture into whatever gaps exist. A one-piece body simply has nowhere for that process to begin.

Race eCBS

Combined braking tuned for circuit use, applying a measured amount of rear brake from the front lever. It came from a racing programme and it is genuinely quicker in the right hands.

A Hundred and Eighty-Four Kilograms

Kerb weight for the S with fluids. Ducati took the mass out of the frame, the swingarm and the wheels rather than finding it in one convenient place.

A Double-Decker Fairing

The 2025 aerodynamics produce more downforce with less drag than the bolted-on winglets they replaced. It is the clearest sign of how much grand prix work reaches these bikes.
