A Heavy Bike Without a Stand
If you are removing the stand rather than replacing a switch, think about this first. A Bandit 1250 is a substantial motorcycle, and without a side stand it cannot be put down for a moment while you find a tool. Loading one into a van alone is a different proposition entirely. Most owners fitting this are repairing, not stripping.

Suzuki's own switch for a bike this age is still available but increasingly a special order, and the price of a small plastic switch against the value of a high-mileage Bandit does not always look sensible. That is the calculation most people are making when they arrive here.
The Trade You Are Making
The interlock exists to stop you pulling away with the stand down. On a bike this heavy, a stand catching in a left-hander is not a small incident. Bridging the circuit is defensible on a machine whose rider knows and checks; it is not something to fit and forget.
