The pre-preg carbon fibre rim is laid up under controlled factory conditions and cured under pressure, producing a consistent, void-free structure that handles the extreme radial, static, lateral and torsional loads generated in race conditions. Validated load ratings — 994 lbs / 451 kg radial, 617 lbs / 280 kg static, 772 Nm lateral and 1,030 Nm torsional — give a clear picture of the engineering margin built into this wheel.
The CNC-machined 6082 T6 aluminium hub is matched precisely to the SC82's rear axle and bearing geometry, so fitment is exact and the wheel drops straight in without modification.
