DescriptionThe whole story▼
The heat shield and the muffler bracket come in the box. On a complete system at this price that ought to be obvious, and it usually is not — most Evolution Lines leave the standard shield in place and expect you to buy a matching one separately.

- High-grade titanium with different alloys optimised for each section

A Logo That Survives the Heat
Akrapovic mentions a new technology for applying its logo decal, giving a higher temperature threshold and better durability. That reads as a small thing until you have seen a race exhaust after a season — the branding is usually the first part to go, bubbling and lifting where the sleeve runs hottest.
On a system costing this much, a mark that is still legible in three years is worth the engineering.
Everything Coated
The muffler sleeve carries a coating rather than being left bare, and the bracket is coated aluminium. Both choices point the same way: this is an exhaust built to be used hard and washed often, not to look pretty in a showroom.
Bare titanium colours and marks; a coated sleeve stays as it started.
The Daytona 660 Is New
Triumph revived the Daytona name in 2024 with a 660 cc triple, positioned below the Street Triple 765 rather than as a supersport homologation machine. It makes around 95 PS as standard.
Akrapovic publishes 99.3 PS with this system fitted, without giving a standard figure to compare against. We report the number as published rather than calculating a gain from an unstated baseline.
A Special Collector
Akrapovic mentions a special link pipe collector as part of the system. On a triple the collector is where the three header pipes meet, and its geometry decides much of how the engine breathes — it is the piece a race exhaust is really built around.
Everything in the Box
Heat shield, muffler bracket, coated sleeve. Compare that with most complete systems in this catalogue, where the shield is a separate article and the bracket is whatever the motorcycle came with.
No Standard Figure to Compare With
Akrapovic publishes 99.3 PS with the system fitted and leaves the standard output blank in its data. That means we cannot state a gain, only the result — and we would rather say that than subtract a number from a specification sheet and present the difference as measured.
Triumph's Smallest Triple
The Daytona 660 runs a 660 cc version of Triumph's three-cylinder engine, below the 765 in the Street Triple. It is a road sportsbike rather than a homologation machine, which makes a competition-only exhaust for it an unusual product — and a clear signal about who Triumph expects to be racing them.
