DescriptionThe whole story▼

Owners of the 2019 to 2022 Triumph Street Scrambler who ride all year, or who load the bike for a few days of touring, tend to want a front brake that behaves the same on a frosty morning as on a hot afternoon. The Accossato AGPA112 front pad in Sintered (ST) compound is aimed at them. It is listed for the later Street Scrambler and suits wet commutes, mountain roads with luggage and riding with a passenger.

Key Features

  • AGPA112 front pads for the Triumph Street Scrambler 2019 to 2022
  • Sintered (ST) compound, article AGPA112ST
  • For all-season use, wet roads and loaded touring
  • Accossato cites consistent grip from cold to hot
  • Strong wet-weather performance according to the maker
  • Two pads per box, one set for the front caliper
  • No German ABE; listed for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato's claim for its ST recipe is a high, unchanging level of grip at both high and low temperatures, plus good performance in the wet. On the AGPA112 plate for the later Street Scrambler that translates into a front brake whose pressure point does not wander as the day warms up or the rain arrives. The sintered layer is the all-weather member of a family that also covers OR, EV1, EV2 and ZXC.

Two Up Over the Pass

Climb a pass with a passenger and a tank bag and the front brake carries a lot of extra weight on the way down. Each hairpin asks for a firm squeeze, and the pad heats up with every one. A sintered compound is the traditional choice for this sort of day because its feel stays steady across that rising temperature. Before a trip, measure the remaining friction material, look at the fluid colour, and replace pads in pairs. After riding through rain or salt, rinse the caliper with clean water and let it dry before parking the bike for long.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato catalogues the AGPA112 for the front of the Triumph Street Scrambler (Street 900 Scrambler) from 2019 to 2022. Bikes from 2017 and 2018 take the AGPA72 instead. The model has a single front caliper, so one box is enough. The rear pad is the AGPA76, listed from 2017 to 2022, and Accossato also names its DK203 disc for this bike.

Road Approval

We do not hold any test certificate or German ABE covering these pads. They are therefore sold for track and competition riding.
