DescriptionThe whole story▼

Motocross does not stop when the weather turns. Winter series, rainy club races and cold training mornings are part of the sport, and a Suzuki RM-Z 250 is often ridden through all of them. For this kind of year-round use Accossato offers the AGPA51 front pad in its Sintered compound, SKU AGPA51ST, listed from 2004 to 2026. It is aimed at riders who want the front brake to feel the same whether the track is frozen in the morning or soaked in the afternoon.

Key Features

  • AGPA51 front pad for the Suzuki RM-Z 250, listed 2004 to 2026
  • Sintered compound, SKU AGPA51ST
  • Accossato: high and constant grip, cold or hot
  • Designed to work on wet discs
  • Consistent lever through changing conditions
  • One pad for summer and winter riding
  • OR, STMX and EV1 are the other compounds
  • No ABE on file; for track use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato describes its Sintered compound as keeping a high level of grip that remains constant at both low and high temperatures, with good performance in wet conditions. For a motocross bike, where the front brake can be cold at the start of a moto and very hot at the end, that stability is valuable. The maker also stresses low wear and limited fade.

Winter Series and Wet Tracks

On a cold winter morning, the first lap of practice begins with cold brakes, and by the end of the moto the disc can be very hot. A sintered pad keeps a steady response across that range, so the rider does not have to adjust to a different lever halfway through.

When rain turns the track into a slippery surface, a front brake that responds cleanly on a wet disc makes corner entries more predictable. For riders who race through the winter months, this compound avoids having to switch pads with the seasons.

Care in Winter

Water, cold and mud are hard on brake parts. Dry the caliper after washing, check the disc for damage and replace the fluid regularly.

Fitment and Compatibility

In Accossato's catalogue AGPA51 covers the front of the RM-Z 250 with the entry 2004 to 2026. At the rear, the RM-Z 250 uses AGPP106, listed for 2004 to 2026. One box fits the front caliper.

Road Approval

There is no ABE or German approval in our records for AGPA51ST, so we sell it for competition and off-road circuits.

Scope of Delivery
