DescriptionThe whole story▼

Behind many young enduro riders stands a parent with a toolbox. They load the van, sort out the fuel, check the tyre pressures and fix whatever the day has broken, and a small enduro bike such as the GasGas EC 125 gives them plenty to do. The front brake lever is among the parts that break most often, because it sits at the very end of the handlebar and meets the ground in almost every fall. For the EC 125 of 2025, Accossato offers the AGD319, a silver replacement brake lever in the original form.

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato presents the AGD319 as an original spare part type for GasGas and Husqvarna models. Its purpose, in the company's words, is to bring the bike back to its original style after the standard lever has been damaged or lost. Accossato also states that it can take the place of the original without any difference in ergonomics or resistance, so the rider's fingers should find the same lever as before. It comes in silver. Dimensions and production method are not something Accossato specifies for this lever, and we do not fill the gap.

The Parent With the Toolbox

Parents who look after a young rider's bike soon develop a routine. The evening before an event, the EC 125 is washed, the chain is lubricated, the air filter is changed and the important fasteners are checked. The spares box goes into the van alongside it, and levers are always in that box, because they are cheaper to carry than a lost day. At the event, the job is to stay calm and work in order. When the rider comes back with a bent brake lever, remove it, clean the mud from the pivot and its surroundings, and put a little fresh grease on before fitting the new one. Then check the free play at the lever as the handbook specifies, and make sure the lever pushes the master cylinder piston cleanly and returns without sticking. The last step should never be skipped: with the bike standing still, pull the lever several times and feel for a firm, consistent pressure point. Only then does the rider go back out. The bent lever is not straightened for next time; it goes into the scrap box.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato lists the AGD319 for the EC 125 of the 2025 model year only. In our catalogue the same lever appears under other GasGas models, among them the EC 250 and the MC 250F, and under Husqvarna enduro bikes such as the FE 350. If your EC 125 is from an earlier year, the AGD319 is not on the list for it, so compare the lever on your bike with our product photo before you order.

Road Approval

There is no ABE or test mark for the AGD319 in our records, and we list it for racing and competition.
