How it goes on
A Pinlock insert is a second, inner lens held against the visor between two pins. The seal around its edge traps a layer of air, and that layer keeps the insert from fogging. Open the visor, bend the insert slightly so it slips between the pins, and let it straighten. The seal must touch the visor all the way round; a gap lets moist air in.
Before you order
Shark does not name a helmet or visor for VZ16013P, neither in the price list nor on its website. A Pinlock insert only works on a visor with pins at the right spacing, so compare the number of your old insert, or the number of the visor it goes on, with VZ16013P before ordering. The list holds five other clear Pinlock numbers: VZ16012P and VZ16018P at the same 31.50 euros, and VZ15058P (V4), VZ15059P (V5) and VZ1530P at 33.12 euros. This is the one without logo.
Care
Wipe the insert only with a damp soft cloth, on the inside surface gently. Do not take it out often; each removal stresses the seal. If the seal comes loose or the insert fogs at the edges, it is time for a new one.
