How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Holding dual ECE 22.06 and FIM homologation, the Shark Aeron GP Johann Zarco Victory 2025 Replica is one of the few full-face racing helmets cleared for both public roads and official championship circuits. Built from Shark's proprietary COVA shell — an 80% carbon, 20% aramid composite — it weighs just 1,410 g in size M, delivering the kind of passive safety and active performance that earns a place on a MotoGP grid.
Key Features
- ECE 22.06 and FIM dual-certified — legal for road use and homologated for official racing series worldwide
- COVA shell construction: 80% carbon fibre, 20% aramid fibre for outstanding rigidity at minimal weight
- 1,410 g in size M (±50 g) — reduces neck fatigue and keeps your head sharp at sustained high speed
- Multi-density EPS liner with four distinct impact zones for precision energy absorption at every impact angle
- Optical Class 1 visor — scratch-resistant, anti-fog treated, UV-stable and tear-off compatible straight out of the box
- Emergency Quick Release system for safe, controlled helmet removal by marshals or medics after an incident
- Compatible with SENA and Sharktooth Bluetooth intercom systems (per Shark catalogue)
Safety and Certification
The Aeron GP's headline achievement is its FIM homologation alongside the current ECE 22.06 standard — a combination that places it in the highest tier of road and track helmet safety. ECE 22.06 demands more rigorous rotational impact testing than its predecessor, while FIM approval is the entry ticket to MotoGP and World Superbike paddocks. Every Aeron GP shell leaves the factory meeting both benchmarks simultaneously, so your protection credentials are beyond question whether you're lapping a club circuit or commuting on track days.
COVA Carbon Shell and Internal Architecture
Shark's COVA process combines 80% carbon fibre with 20% aramid to achieve a shell that is stiffer than standard carbon laminates yet more resistant to penetration and fracture. The result is a helmet that protects without the weight penalty of traditional composite constructions. Beneath the shell, a four-density EPS liner distributes and absorbs impact energy precisely — different zones manage different crash scenarios so the liner is never working harder than it needs to in any given impact.
Aerodynamics and Ventilation
Developed in a wind tunnel to remain stable at 300 km/h, the Aeron GP features an adaptive aero spoiler that responds automatically to airflow as speed increases. Five intake vents and seven exhaust ports connect through an internal EPS channel network, circulating fresh air continuously across the crown and around the face. The shell profile is shaped for the racing tuck position, minimising drag and aerodynamic lift so the helmet stays planted and quiet even at track speeds.
Rider Comfort and Fit
Inspired directly by feedback from professional riders, the interior of the Aeron GP was developed around a 3D-scanned head form for anatomical precision. The removable, washable liner uses antibacterial, moisture-wicking fabric that stays dry and odour-free through long sessions. Morpho-Pads and ear pads can be swapped to fine-tune the fit, and the helmet is designed to accommodate spectacles comfortably — a practical detail that matters during endurance stints.
- 3D-scanned interior for ergonomic fitment
- Antibacterial, moisture-wicking, removable and washable liner
- Morpho-Pads and ear pads — individually adjustable
- Spectacle-friendly interior
- Double-D ring retention for race-day reliability
Visor Technology
The Aeron GP ships with both a clear Optical Class 1 visor and a dark smoke visor ready to use. The visor is scratch-resistant, UV-stable, anti-fog treated and tear-off compatible — the tear-off set is included in the box. Two anti-fog inserts (summer and winter variants) are also supplied, ensuring clear vision from the first cold-morning warm-up lap to the final evening session in humid conditions.
Zarco Victory 2025 Design
The Victory 2025 livery — catalogued as DBU — is rendered in the blue, white and red colour palette drawn from Johann Zarco's MotoGP 2025 race season. Every graphic line follows the contours of the shell so the design serves the aerodynamic form rather than fighting it. For collectors and serious track riders alike, this replica captures a specific moment in motorsport history in a helmet that is genuinely built to compete.
Fitment and Compatibility
This helmet is a universal full-face design suitable for any rider seeking ECE 22.06 and FIM-approved head protection. Intercom compatibility is confirmed for SENA and Sharktooth systems (per Shark catalogue).
