How to measure your helmet size correctly: To find the right helmet size, measure your head circumference with a flexible tape measure.
It is important that the tape measure runs around the widest part of the head – only then will you get a correct result.
Place the tape measure at the front, about 1–2 cm above the eyebrows, and run it along the sides above the ears.
At the back, the tape must run over the largest part of the back of the head (not too low on the neck). The tape may run slightly at an angle – what matters is that it sits all the way around the largest points of the head.
Make sure the tape measure sits snugly but does not dig in. Measure 2–3 times for the most accurate result. You can then compare the measured value in centimetres (cm) with our size chart.
Tips for an accurate result
- Keep hair flat (e.g. do not measure over a voluminous hairstyle)
- Keep the tape horizontal, i.e. along the largest circumference
- Do not measure too loosely
- For values between two sizes:
→ usually choose the larger size (depending on helmet model / fit)
Important note on fit
The right helmet should fit firmly without causing uncomfortable pressure points.
A new helmet may feel a little tighter at first, as the inner lining adapts slightly over time.

Why a Liner Is a Wear Part
The padding is the only part of a helmet that touches you, and it is the part that ages fastest. Foam compresses permanently with use: after a few seasons a helmet that once fitted snugly starts to feel loose, and a loose helmet moves in an impact instead of staying put. Sweat, sunscreen and hair products break down the fabric over the same period. Replacing the liner restores both the fit and the hygiene — and it is a fraction of the cost of a new helmet.
Adjusting the Fit
There is a second use for this set. Because the liner is sized independently of the shell, you can fine-tune how the Dragon fits: order a size down for a firmer hold if the helmet has loosened with age, or a size up if it was always a touch tight in the cheeks. Riders between two helmet sizes often use exactly this to get a proper fit rather than compromising.
X-Static® Silver
The fabric is woven with real silver fibre. Silver is naturally antibacterial, so it suppresses the bacteria that cause helmet odour rather than perfuming over them — the reason a well-kept Dragon liner still smells acceptable after a long, hot summer. It is also hypoallergenic and breathable, and the foam is laser-cut for an even surface against the head.
Washing
The set is fully removable and washable. Hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, press the water out rather than wringing, and air-dry away from direct heat — a radiator or tumble dryer will shrink the foam and change the fit permanently.

Order the same size as your helmet unless you are deliberately adjusting the fit as described above. Available XXS to 3XL. Reference 806807LNR01.
