DescriptionThe whole story▼
Fire Orange turns the Leatt Moto 2.5 X-Flow Glove into a statement piece: a black glove lit up by a glowing orange pattern that looks like heat spreading across the back of the hand. Underneath, it is the same lightweight, fully vented glove for hot-weather riding.
The Moto 2.5 X-Flow is built around ventilation and a direct connection to the controls, which makes it a glove for summer motos, practice laps and dusty enduro days.
Key Features
- Open X-Flow mesh back engineered by Leatt for ventilation
- Durable NanoGrip palm, thin enough to feel the grips
- FormFit finger sides in stretch mesh
- Seamless, pre-curved palm construction
- Works on touchscreens without taking the glove off
- Multi-row Coats® stretch thread stitching for durability
Details
A lightweight glove still has to survive repeated use. Leatt addresses that with multi-row Coats® stretch-thread seams. Touchscreen compatibility and plastic-free packaging complete the list of details.
Ventilation
The whole upper of the Moto 2.5 X-Flow is X-Flow mesh, which Leatt describes as fully vented. Air can pass across the back of the hand as soon as the bike is moving, and the stretch mesh panels on the finger sides add more breathable surface where the hand bends most.
Palm and grip
On the palm, Leatt uses NanoGrip, an ultra-thin material that the brand describes as durable and grippy in both wet and dry conditions. Because there is so little between hand and grip, throttle and lever inputs stay precise.
How it fits
Leatt describes the fit as pre-curved and snug. FormFit is the brand's name for the way the finger sides are made, here from stretch mesh, so the glove can follow each finger. The closure is a simple adjustable hook-and-loop strap.
What you should know
Anyone looking for armour should look elsewhere in the Leatt range, because the Moto 2.5 X-Flow carries none and has no stated CE certification. Equally, the mesh construction is the opposite of weatherproof; in rain or on cold mornings the hands will feel it.
Colour
The design is built on black, with an orange and amber honeycomb pattern that grows brighter towards the knuckles. A Leatt badge in yellow and black sits near the cuff, the wrist tab carries a small neon accent, and the palm is grey. The dark base keeps dirt from showing too quickly, while the orange gives the pair real presence. Fire Orange is part of the new V27 line-up.
