DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Panigale 1299 S with a race-layout left-hand block, cut from a single billet of Ergal 7075.
Key Features
- Ducati Panigale 1299 S (2015–2018)
- Race layout with the button order changed for circuit use
- Black, red or titanium anodising
- CNC-machined from Ergal 7075
- Military-specification sealed elements
- Plug-and-play on the original connector
The Column Rearranged
Every function the street block carries, in an order drawn around circuit use. It takes one session to stop noticing and stays useful for as long as the bike is owned.
A Thumb Without a Map
On a fast lap there is no spare capacity for locating a switch visually. The race layout puts the most-used control where the hand arrives naturally under load.
Between Sessions and Within Them
Suspension mode, engine map and traction all change through a track day. On an S with semi-active Öhlins those adjustments are made more often, not less.
Hot Washing
Twenty minutes after the flag, with everything still warm. It is what ends competition switchgear, and a body machined from one block gives the jet nothing to find.
Twenty Minutes to Reverse
Nothing cut anywhere in the harness. A bike prepared for circuits returns to road specification quickly and without leaving evidence behind it.
Semi-Active Öhlins
Damping adjusted continuously from the inertial platform. On a short-wheelbase twin with 205 horsepower, the weight moves faster than any fixed setting can follow.
A Hundred and Sixteen Newton Metres
The stroke increase gave the 1299 far more torque than the 1199 and delivered it lower. On a circuit that shows up as drive out of a slow corner.
The Final Edition
Ducati closed the twin line with a 1299 Final Edition carrying R internals. Both it and the Anniversario were small-volume specials and both have held their value remarkably.
Three Anodised Colours
Black, red and titanium, converted into the metal. Against red bodywork and gold suspension, black is the option that leaves the cockpit alone.
